advice from our naturalists

Jorge Bogantes-Monterro is a biologist with the Anacostia Watershed Society.  He is very generous with his time, giving advice and consultation to volunteers in the Anacostia Watershed.  Before undertaking plantings or invasives removals, FQRW walks the site with Jorge to determine what work should take place. These videos were made during one of those site visits near Quincy Point on the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, January 2019. Jorge talks about 3 of the most common invasive vines in this part of the Watershed.
